A lot of people seem mad at GSP even though he didn't judge the fight.
However, does GSP have an obligation to come out and say "Yes, I should have lost. The judges made a bad call. The commission needs to make changes"

I don't know who all has gone back and watched it but it really isn't as big a robbery as I had originally claimed. Judging by the 10 point must system I can see how GSP won the fight.

If thats true, then doesn't it make an even bigger argument for the commission to make a change?

The NSAC would have to admit there's a problem first.

Ive watched the fight four times now. I don't see any aspect of the first round that GSP won. Kicks, punches, elbows, knees, grappling, etc... were all Hendricks

I watched the Fight again a couple of times, I had rounds 1,2 and 4 for Hendricks. The fight was very close; however, Hendricks was able to stop or counter most of GSP's takedown attempts and inflict substantial damage in the process. Hendricks also landed many knees and strikes against GSP while on the fence. As a caveat I am a GSP fan, I just don't think he won the fight on points or any other way. I would say that one of his mistakes was being so determined to get the single leg takedown where Hendricks was able to stay standing and also land strikes. Some of Hendricks most damaging strikes came while they were against the fence in my opinion. I don't think there should be criticism of GSP in any form for this fight, I would say that he gave 100% and never quit, especially when he was rocked in the 2nd round. I also don't think people should criticize him for wanting to step away from the sport for a bit. It takes an enormous psychological toll to be Champion and be ready to fight all Challengers for the length of time that GSP has. But if he needs to step away, then he needs to vacate the title.
