Read this yesterday. Not sure how much good this can do. Those who follow his cult at this point is going to stay in his cult. We have enough info for us to determine he's a bad person. Those who wanted out ended up leaving. Those who wanted to stay, stayed. I'm not sure about the legalities behind a potential competition ban, but since he seems to be sue happy, I could imagine that if any tourney were to ban him or his team, he'd likely sue.
I agree that a ban would be a good idea, but why would they ban him? For "alleged" crimes which he and his students were acquitted. The one person who was convicted "paid his dues to society." That could be seen as discrimination not letting them compete. Could IBJJF win the suit based on the fact that business can refuse service to whomever they want? Sure. Do they even want to go to court? Doubt it.
So, unfortunately these guys will be around as long as this guy is able to manipulate new and old converts to his cult. The worse that can happen is they're hated by the community....and that's pretty much the case already. And Lloyd, being a master manipulator will just spin it into some martyrdom complex and label the world as haters. It's a lose lose situation for everyone.
