This weekend I competed in the Revolution Jiu Jitsu tourney in Bonne Lake Washington. I ended up taking second cause in the finals I got disqualified for reaping the knee. even worse is the batteries on my camera died during that match so I can't even show you guys how it happened. basically he had me in full mount and I bucked him forward and was able to get both of my legs in front of him ( I can't remember what that mount escape is called) and as I kicked him off of me we landed in a knee reap. It was totally accidental and my opponent even pleaded with the ref to keep it going but rules are rules and I was instantly dq'd. however in my first match I got submission from reverse spider web so the day wasn't a complete loss. But is does suck to pay 60 bucks for a tourney and go 1-1 and there wasn't even an absolute tourney. And I used to think Jiu Jitsu was a cheap sport. Oh well. check out the sub.
