I think it would be cool if we had a page on this site where we listed the major 10th Planet accomplishments throughout the years. Not a thread, but an actual place where the information is just on display for our community. If we don't keep up with it, we'll lose track of it one of these days.

Stuff like Moon of the Year, Warrior of the Year, any major tournament victories, etc...

Just a thought.

This would be simple to implement, especially given the 10P site is built on WordPress, which is a blogging and content management system. That said, Eddie could create a new category under WP-Admin > Posts > Categories and call it something like "Accolades," "Accomplishments" or like Brandon mentioned, "Hall of Records." Then, every time there's a new accomplishment, someone could create a new post with said achievement, including title, description, related photos and videos. Then his webmaster could customize this category page and make it dope, but the CGI suggestion could take some serious time; Animation of any sort takes ages to produce...5 second clips may necessitate several bags of kind, too.

The problem with the category solution is Eddie's webmaster, or editor, would have to add all of these accomplishments, not you. A simpler and quicker route would be to add a new forum section called "10P Progress" that only allows MTS subscribers to post their 10P notable tribulations themselves. If you could add tags to this forum, that would be the easiest way.

Yeah, I also think that would be a great idea. There is also already existing data (like Slick Ric’s page of official belt ranks complete with peoples lineage and nick names) that could be added under that tab. I’ve always thought that a few things that get “stickyed” should be somewhere under a tab at the top of the page instead….
Something to think about next time your web designer wants some side work I guess
