"gimmick Moves"

Has anyone been accused of winning with "gimmick" moves? I have been accused several times lately for winning with moves they deem lesser moves. One guy with big calves tapped to lockdown. Another tapped to the Dolf Choke from the latest MTS. The latest was from an Ezekiel Choke. I consider any move that works to be "Legit."

Any thoughts?

Yup, I've been called every name in the book, but "cheap ass bullshit" is a reoccurring theme. It may just be the old man disease, but I don't remember people being so pissed off about tapping back when I started.

if it isn't illegal under the ruleset you are rolling with, and they can't stop it, it seems to me that is their issue. If it's just a "gimmick" then you won't be able to pull it off multiple times against multiple partners.

Ive been told that several times yet I consistently get the same 'gimmick' moves over an over on the same guys even after I show them the 'gimmick' move. My question is what does that say about YOUR GAME if I keep catching you with my bullshit jitz?
