Hey everyone, just received some GREAT news regarding the 2013 Michigan State Championships. Elite Federation Of Grapplers is Michigan's dominant grappling circuit, and incorporate a point system scored through their entire season of tournaments. At the end of the season, the top 3 placers in each division receive awards. (Championship Belt for 1st, Plaques for 2nd & 3rd) - This was the first year 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu has EVER dominated the great state of Michigan! Not only did we earn the team honors in 3 different tournaments this year (Multiple Awards at the finals), but we crowned NINE State Champions, THREE Runner Ups, and ONE Third Place Finish! 
We have accomplished a lot this year to be proud of as a Hot Box, but I'd have to say this is one of my greatest achievements as a coach in the 7 years I have been competing in and coaching martial arts. Given the fact we are more of a family than a team, I'm sure this hits home for some of the members the same way it does me. I want to send a special thank you to Coach Chris Herzog at 10th Planet Rochester! You have been such a huge help to the squad and myself, and I honestly can't thank you enough for all that you do. Even being 13 hours away from us, you never hesitate to help in anyway. It's beyond appreciated my man.
Also want to thank the man himself, Eddie Bravo! We're grateful for the opportunity to represent 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, and honored to be a part of the lineage that is developing within the system. Wouldn't trade it for the world. Thank You
