I don't dispute that, just that its not BJJ.

Impossible to develop a legit guard system if you can't roll

I got it in the mail today. Will report.

Randy Couture has a lot of good things to say about Melanson and his system. He wrote an intro.
Neil Melanson wrote another intro, and reading the intro, Melanson said that he did nothing but triangle attacks from guard for X-amount of time, at the behest of one of his instructors.
He says he has figured out all sorts of ways/tricks to get the triangle sub, against opponents who knew he was only working for the triangle at all times, so they knew what to watch for, etc. He had to develop ways to catch it depending on how they acted in his guard.
Looking forward to checking this out in detail actually!

Well if he can't roll or compete then surely he has footage of his students pulling off his techs in competition right? Links?

Btw I hope he has some super legit material, I'm not hating, but I am a little skeptical

Hey Eddie, I am not saying he has developed some amazing system or anything. I just cracked the book open and just started into it. The entire book is about nailing triangles from guard.
All the MMA fighters that train at Xtreme Couture are being taught this system according to Randy, but I don't know who any of them are becasue I don't follow the sport to be honest.
I just bought it to see if it would help me tighten up my triangle game.
