Rubber Guard Flowchart+ Troubleshoot.

Only really know the basics positions for the rubber guard but are there any flowcharts out there, if that would be possible to create? (just like there is for the lockdown)

Thanks for the lockdown tips from before. Looking for tips or moves to pull in rubber guard when you get mission control but your opponent t-rex his arms really tightly (Exhumer, Pump and night of living dead dont work) . Are you just best to transition from mission control to a different position such as the pyramid?

There's a flow chart in the rubber guard book that's pretty helpful.

Maybe look to go to crackhead control n work for New York crackhead n transition to muddy waters.

Or if they keep the arms in maybe look at working in for a Duda?

Yeah man had a look at the one in the book so I did, just wondering if there was one like the lockdown one which comes with video clips.

Really should mention how he t rexs his arms....basically he t rexs and bends his arms and touches his hands together whilst forearms touching his chest and touches hands them to his chin whilst trying to posture , if that makes sense....find it really hard to do anything from there

Try to do the basic path, and add a gag reflex in there if they're being that stubborn. Orr, hold posture, hold posture, hold posture, carefully let go, as they posture up (which they should do) hip bump sweep. From the hip bump sweep you can get the sweep, hand on the mat, triangle, guillotine, kimura, etc.

If you do the hip bump, make them believe that you want their posture, but you "let them slip out". This way, they will commit to taking their posture back, because it's their idea and what they 'want' to have.

Yeah have the pro membership Just like getting a thread going about technique questions so I can get different peoples view points and opinions on what to do. Will need to look it up cheers buddy! And the hip bump sweep is definitely something to look into! It on MTS?
