Before Training. How many hrs of sleep ? And breakfast ?

I need more sleep..I know. I know it's gonna kill me in training if I don't. How many hours should a 24 year old get? How many hours do You get the night before you train ? And what should I eat for breakfast? What do You eat ? And how long before training should I eat ? An hour before ? Or two hours ? Training is at 11 am, theres 30-45 minutes of stand up. Bags and mits. Then over an hour of no-gi jiu-jitsu. For mma, techniques, drills, then rolling.

I just started training again this past Tuesday after 2 years off. And all ready I've missed out on 2 days of training because I couldn't and didn't work out a schedule to follow. Lack of sleep and eating without giving myself time to digest. I need to stick to a schedule to stay consistent and train.

I sleep 7 hours, and train 2 hours after I wake up. I eat about 1.5 hours before training. At least 4 servings of fruit,a glass of milk and some oatmeal. Might a well be crystal meth for the energy that combo gives me. Fruit and complex carbs before. Lots of protein after.
Of course I just a pothead, so what do I know.

More fruit in the morning would be great for me. I'd appreciate any helpful input. Nothing wrong with good advice or insight from a pothead.

I hear fruits, vegetables, and lean meats is usually good. I also heard to stay away from Sugary foods in the morning.

I sleep 6 hours everynight and have a bowl of steel cut oats with alot of fresh blueberries every morning. I train in the evenings and don't eat for 2 hours before. I will also have a big glass of chocolate skim milk 2 hours before I roll because it has the perfect balance of protein and carbs for energy for a workout, and it also works as a great recovery drink after a good training session.

I could really use a good recovery drink. It's Fall but we've been having a heatwave in Orange County. Training hard then coming out to hotter than normal weather. Especially while I'm getting used to training consistently again, a recovery drink would be awesome.

Hell I never hardly sleep right and 4 out of 5 days of training I'm shit. Plus the fact that I don't eat right do to weird sleeping habits and a love for to much food. Sometimes that one day though I get a serious energy boost from somewhere usually if I've had a day off or something.

I LOVE steel cut oats. And with berries... perfect breakfast if you ask me.

How do you all sleep so little? I can't get out of bed if I get less than 8, which at 24 you should definitely be doing. I usually like to eat a little over an hour before training, and oatmeal is sooo pro with any kind of berries you like.
