The only way to not fear something, is to understand. Then you understand how much power and leverage the tech has and that any duesche can crank this, and you stay scared.
I reverse engineer my defense often. First I learn to apply a sub well, which means fully understanding all positions involved. You then understand the areas of vulnerability and where he is attacking your base. This is crucial for good defense. As you and your partners get good at heelhooks, you become good at there defense. Doesn't make a fully locked hook any less dangerous, but its way harder to get one locked on you. And slow down to speed up.
Whether or not you understand leg attacks can add up in the w/l column. If you don't already know this you soon will. Or you could just ban them. lame
