The other thing is he is misleading the public. I'm sorry but no one would train with you if they knew you had no formal BJJ or Muay Thai training. The reason people are so pissed is this stuff was rampant with Karate and TKD and now it is starting to happen with BJJ. Dudes are watching UFC and/or getting DVDs then lying about their rank and start teaching classes. Dudes teaching aerobics and spinning and kettle bell are now saying that the teach muay thai or BJJ....heck...Gold's Gyms are starting to put Cages in their locations. People with false credentials show up and start trying to train classes.

One horror story I heard was a guy who ranked to blue belt in one of these spots. He was promoted purely on taking a certain amount of classes then visited another spot and was getting tapped within seconds by no stripe white belts. He visited the other location because the instructor insisted that he not compete in tournaments and what not.

This speaks volumes to me! I tried to be positive and giving him the benefit of a doubt but it seems like I was wrong. Sorry guys! I need to learn that if it walks like a douchebag, talks like a douchebag and most people agree that it's a douchebag, then it must be so! That is by far the lamest excuse I have ever heard! There's a little thing called the first amendment of the united states constitution and it gives you the right to express your opinion freely. I'm done with this shit!

I did 10 years in the Military and taught/instructed ROTC cadets for like a year before I made CPT. If he is really a CADET...they would frown upon his lack of integrity....
