Yeah. I almost didn't say it at all, but I want to be up front. If I can cut a little weight, I'd be in the second highest weight bracket. And I am tempted to compete because the tournament won't always be in Washington right in my backyard! It's a good opportunity. But I'm going to have 220 lb muscle-bound white belts from Portland, Spokane, maybe Victoria... hitting me with stuff I've only seen on youtube. I dunno man. I'm good with losing, you learn when you lose. But there are times when I roll when I just get annihilated and my recollection of the occurrence goes something like this:
Well the drill started with me in the mount position.
Then ...magic
Then, me flying.
Then I'm on my back again.
Annnnd I get back in line to wait for it to happen again.
When do I learn? I learn when I go to youtube and try to figure out how not to have a crappy mount.
The bottom line is that as a white belt with no stripes, I get schooled most of the times I roll.

Do I want to represent my school so poorly and get crushed? I dunno. Bad attitude?
But I definitely want to watch the tournament, see if I can meet some 10p people from Portland, Spokane, Victoria, whoever might be there.
IF anyone is going.
Maybe I scared them all off by saying I might compete.
