Brian! Since you are already running analysis do you mind sharing what you have learned?[/QUOTE]

Sure thing. I got all my stuff on a flash drive at work, but I gotta stop by and drop off my groceries for the week this afternoon...I'll take some JPEGs of what I have ad post them on here so you can get an idea. I have it broken down by bsic subs (armbar, kimura, choke, etc) as well as detailed subs (armbar from spider web, armbar from guard, armbar from pump...etc). I'll post something later today or early tomorrow.

In the pareto charts, you will see "count", "percent" and "%"

Count = the actual number for the partiocular sub
Percent = the actual percentage that sub was landed (e.g. 30% of total subs)
% = the accumulative percent. This shows what the point in total accumulation of percentage (total subs) you are at. For example...in detailed subs of others, armbar, head and arm, and Americana account for a total of 30% o0f my subs.

Check it out and let me know what you think

Cool! Brian thanks for sharing! I think that this brings up a good question/challenge which is (Chris?) how do we allow people to put in the submission they used, while keeping continuity of the data. IE if someone writes "rear naked choke" and someone else writes "RNC" are we going to get two different data sets? Is it better to let people enter data as they will and someone will have to organize it later or do we need some kind of universal Key for this form?

    RNC - Rear Naked Choke
    AMB - Arm Bar
    KM - Kimura
    and so on?

Since Brian will probably be compiling the data, I think he and I can work on getting it in any form and he can do what he needs to with it.

Any data that is kept in excel can be changed pretty easily. If it is decided that we use "real naked choke" instead of "RNC" or some other derivative. ..excel allows a simple "find and replace" function that will change an entire spreadsheet in like 2 seconds.

I can create an excel document that has drop-downs...that way the entries will be standardized and we don't have the "RNC" vs "rear naked choke" thing. Not sure the best place to store the document though. ..May I just make a template that people can use and send to me and Chris?
