I Have An Ethical Question I Need Some Help With.

So this is the deal. I have been invited to Battle 4 The Ages this month in Dallas Texas. I have been looking at film of my competition in my group. So this is question, would it be unethical for me to post the videos to have my 10th Planet brothers and sisters help me find weak points and build my fight plan for each? Of course I would exclude any 10th Planet fighters who may enter my division from this war room brainstorming.

Conner: my advice, since we been there already, just work on your game. Don't really have to study anyone's game. Stick with what you do best and that will work. Its an 8 man bracket and at this time, you don't even know what the bracket look like yet, so what you going to do, study all 7 guys? Also you be very lucky to find any decent video of any of those boys. The only boy I know of and one that you can find video for is the Winner from last time Austin Oranday.

I got an 8 woman in April. Stop studying their game. Get a game plan..stick to it, then go out there and enforce it. If you over obsess over what they're gonna do, you won't enforce your game plan. Look at how they enter..like Marcelo does, and let that be it! :-)

I don't think its unethical, however if it was me I'd spend more time tightening my own game to make sure there is no holes rather than thinking about what someone else thinks they're going to do. Plus if you watch enough movies, you see that when you know what to look for, its the searching for it to preempt it that causes it to go into effect. but that's just my 0.02c

Connor that's what your team is for! I do agree with most in regards of just go out there and play/execute your game. But at the same time it is valuable to know what your opponent's go to subs are so you can be aware of them during the match. For example, if you know your opponent has killer guillotines you'll be a little more cautious about sticking out your neck. You won't necessarily be changing your game, but you will be increasing your awareness. Train hard, fight easy...good luck buddy!

I disagree with not studying film. Like smokey said, they may have "Go To" moves that merrits a heads up. However focusing on your game should be the priority.

If I have footage, I'm definitely gonna study it. To me it'd be crazy not to do so.
