I wasn't. But I decided to drive down Friday, compete Saturday, drive home Saturday night (5.5 hours), then fly to Cali on a later flight on Sunday. Eckkks!! I am hoping to compete the next two weekends after that in Cali (Dream and NAGA San Diego)

I might go up to watch.
NAGA really pissed me off last year. They moved me up to a higher bracket even though I made weight where there was only one other guy. He sat on top of me and I lost by points. One match. That was it. So when they announced the open weight roles I just assumed it was the NAGA version of Absolute. I competed and tapped three guys back to back to back including the guy that won the division that I was supposed to be in in the first place. Then I found out it didn't even count as official rolls. I wasn't impressed. I got in some good matches which is really what counts but my punishment to them is to boycott this competition.
I started training in 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu in 2006 after serving 4 years in the USAF.
I became a professional MMA fighter in 2009 and got my blackbelt from Eddie in January of 2016.
