    First ever rubber guard in MMA?

    Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Nino Schembri 2:

    2004 - goes to rubber guard and throws some elbows in Round 1!

    Didn't someone on here post a clip of Rickson-Zulu where Rickson went to a rubber guard-esque position back in the 80s?

    Also, watching old Saku makes me sad

    Yeah I watched that - Rickson just held his leg for a second - he didn't really use it as a "posish".
