    Guard advice

I have been studying BJJ for awhile but just recently discovered the 10th Planet system.. so forgive me if this question seems basic or ignorant. But living in western ohio i have yet to find a good 10th planet gym near me to train.. so I've mostly been stuck watching online tutorials and practicing them in class with no properly qualified 10th planet instructor. But in doing so I've come across a position that works very well for me.. and I'm having a hard time finding it online to better widen my arsenal from the position. So if anyone can help me out with a name of the guard or maybe reasons its not used due to faults I just havent discovered yet.. I'd greatly appreciate it.. The explanation of the guard is as follows..

I can achieve it from either a high full guard or basic rubber guard (amongst a few other positions) But for explanation sake.. lets just assume we start out with the opponent in full guard. The transfer occurs when the opponent reaches a hand back to push your knee to the floor, and as he does so.. you grab the bicep or elbow as you might to stop a punch or possibly slip a leg over for a triangle, and as you keep their arm back, you take the opposite foot of the hand you're using to hold there arm.. and hook that foot under the elbow being held back. Here you can typically hold them in position while you work neck cranks, bicep crushers, or some sweeps. So if any information, links, or names of this guard could be given, id greatly appreciate it.

Also as a side note seeing as though this is my first post.. I feel i should clarify before people hulk out on me.. The black belt ranking in the school of hard knocks is a joke.. So lets not get carried away with the "he's not a black belt" drama :P

There is a guy at my school who is good at getting this position. Once you get stuck there it seems almost inevitable that you will get either swept or submitted. I think the reason more people don't go to that position is because it can take quite a bit of flexibility to achieve so if you only have average flexibility it may be hard to get. On top of this, when you are going against quality competition it seems to me like a pretty hard position to obtain. If you are real interested in that position there are some vids on you tube. I think the guy who posts them is called Wolverine and he calls the position the Rubix Cube or something.

what stops him from pulling his arm out of the hook you've made with your foot?

Thanks a lot Rob.. i'll check it out. And to Jarrad, from so far i havent had any trouble keeping the arm locked in with just my foot. But i have found that you can grab your own foot with the same side hand as the foot your using.. closing off that open space for the arm to escape.. i hope that makes sense. It's hard trying to explain Jiujitsu without video or pictures.
