I do not think he meant any disrespect, It sounds like he was a bit excited and wanted to share his experience. As a result, his point was ill conceived but, honestly I think he wished to espouse the legitimacy of 10p technique, yeah... maybe a bit of an ego boost to himself as well. Either way, I agree he could have titled the thread more appropriately but, in reality does it even matter? I see this as opportunity for a higher belt to teach a lower belt the proper course of action. Yes, he came off like a douche but, so did the guy being so easily offended.

One chooses to be offended. Words are wind and the hate goes both ways. Neither effect me. I grapple with others who grapple. Titles and categories become irrelevant. Just train and shut up. Comp vids help, a story is bragging.

If someone is respectful enough to train with you, return it. In the grand scheme, the progression is all that matters. And it gives zero fucks about teams.
