I know, I'm a dick... I apologize already if I am out of line or there is a misunderstanding...but I'm sure others were thinking the same..
It's a little dickish to assume I'd ever want my guys to have "give me" fights. My 19 year old was (4-0) taking on a (12-4) Champion from another league, far from a favorite on our end. I DO run the Spyder Sub. Fight Team, and I assist with matchmaking in the SSFL due to my abilities. Dan Hoogerhyde is the actual Promoter for the SSFL, and given it's local it only makes sense for our guys to compete on the events.
He's actually 5-0 and has been in some wars already, do your homework

. He's 5-0, not 6-0 - And It's Sbardella cheech.
My team works hard man, no need to cheat. I got in to helping with fight cards because of all the lopsided BS that does go on in Michigan. Actually, when I started there were only 3 leagues in the state. (2 of which were doing it right) So now, years down the road, we're promoting a product that does things the right way, and it's attracted fighters from several states and even Canada. Zog's right, given I DO help. It's not only difficult to find my guys fights, but the right ones to grow as a martial artist. We've been putting on events for years without a complaint from a fighter, fan, or coach about how the league is operated.
And as far as I go man, Clare is doable for you! Be happy to show you first hand about my "hand picked record". I fought 25 times as an amateur, accumulating a 20-4-1 record. I'm now 5-2 in the Pro ranks on top of that....Hand picking my fights? For someone that wasn't trying to sound like a dick, you sure put yourself out there as one.
