Anybody see the Arena Combat fighting on AXS Show? It's pretty funny. Two guys team up and fight two other guys inside an arena. Not for technique, but the entertainment value was pretty decent.

Yea, we saw it Friday night.. Blew our minds so bad we continued to watch it....they're working on getting one set up in America and eventually go international..it's like the MMA of the future or something. :-/

I think it's unsafe and retarded. When people can blindside you, it's not within the limits of a safety anymore.
It means you can get knocked out with power shots you don't see coming. That's dangerous enough with ordinary people doing it, but against people that have real power it's really dangerous.
Just a spectacle that uses fighters I think.. I wonder what the fighters are getting paid? And what's next?
Throw some lions in there too. (hehe)

You have to draw a line somewhere, and where is that line?
I've got nothing against oldschool NHB rules, soccer kicks, headbutts, everything, as long as it's mano e mano, but highly trained fighters ganging up on eachother from different angles is a recipe for disaster.

And the obstacles.. someone's getting their neck broken on TV.. Sorry for being all serious and shit, it's just my honest thoughts about it.
