Never had anyone come in who said they were from his school. Weak attempt at pretending he recommends guys to go see me...if he thinks the system sux, y send a student over?? Makes no sense....and if he did send a spy, I ASSURE you he got a taste of the Rg....they all do..I take all the walk ins first so they don't play dumb and hurt one of my new guys...

I saw this thread referencing my name.
Let me be clear, rubber guard, as with many guards, has value. I think Eddie is good. It is undeniable that Eddie started with th egi and developed basics first. That is my problem with rubber guard, people not doing proper movements and relying on it if there is nothing else and not having anything else. Beginners talking like they are Eddie.

As for Eddie, Eddie is obviously a smart guy. He has done some great things. I am not a fan on the pot lingo because I feel it does nothelp our youth because they cannot differentiate a lot of things. I think thats fair of me to say.

I also am not a fan of how big a deal he made of the Royler deal. I think thats fair also.

I also think Gi helps no gi and I know Marcelo tarins a lot of gi as does Roger who I consider to be top level no gi guys.

As per Kevin's assesment of my school, absolutely not true. I have many students and had to weed out the old ones, which took time and I had one of your students before he went with you, I had kind words not even knowing you. I know you rolled with a guy I know, my prior school owner, he said you were decent. Trust me, that guy would have nothing but praise for my top and bottom game in person believe me, Ive rolled with him many times and my students can attest to the beatings I gave him.

That guy Im talking about is an asshole and has been banned from 3 gyms already.

You were fed a lie about me and my school, I have over 35 members on my books, so please Kevin, do not continue to slander my school.

I apologize if I hurt anyones feelings. My facebook remark was based on an individual who talked like he was a rubber guard king and he had lacked basics to boot in my opinion. I wrote a rash post. I would still love to roll with Eddie one day if Im out there.

In any case, Kevin, you and your students are welcome to roll at my school for any sparring session. I have many advanced guys who are helpful and good and it would only help all if you have something to add. You can call me if you want to come down sometime. I can assure you my bottom game is very good as you were led to say it wasn't, my close friend and colleague Robson Moura can attest to that as can many others from many backgrounds. And trust me, if I told you further the history of the gentleman who I believe lead you wrong I think you would absolutely agree with me and my assessment of his character. And after rolling I think you will have kind words of me also. I have some answers to the rubber guard, some things may be difficult I agree, so I respect it. I have watched you roll, I think you are decent Kevin, my assessment is fair in that I've rolled with the elite, you will see I have many guys that would roll well with you.
