which book do I start with
All 4 of them (they're worth it). Jump around and get a feel for what works, and then keep building. And keep it playful don't ever get too cocky after a class, and don't ever get too down either!

I started with Mastering the Rubber Guard and focused on the half guard game, following the path from lock-down onward.
Mastering the Twister DVD has awesome production value, and is one of the better instructional videos out there.
