I'll have to watch it a third time, but I thought there was another point where you see him tap quick three times on Eddie's thigh. Not sure which point of the match it was. But yeah, seemed like he tapped and maybe Eddie ignored it. Perhaps he wanted it to be very definitive for the world to see. If he didn't tap, then he really is a stud to take the punishment that he got handed to him from Eddie. Awesome match!

I don't think he would have tapped if something broke. Remember Matt Hughes trying to hit an Americana on Royce Gracie, you have to put them to sleep or break something.

The ref said before the match "don't stop until I pull you off" so even if he did tap it wouldn't really matter. Seemed like a Brazilian tap or an attempt to get a better grip on the pants. Either or..
