Whats up everybody! So I'm doing a personal experiment. My goal this year is to do 12 tournaments. I've done 2 so far. That ends up costing a pretty penny just in entry fees so without any sponsors paying my way into these tournaments it will end up coming out of my pocket. Not that I have any problem with that but I thought I would try something a bit different. I know this site gets quite a bit of traffic so I'm just going to put this out there. If 65 people were to donate $1 (the cost of a candy bar), my entry fee to Gracie Regionals would be paid for. If that happens then I will pay it forward and help someone else get into a tournament. Any over flow would just go to another tournament like Gracie Worlds which would also be paid forward. I really believe competing is a great experience and if you're at all thinking of stepping on to the competition mat, I encourage you to do so. I just forced my dad to compete this last weekend by buying his entry fee and he walked away with a silver medal and a thirst to compete more. I thought that was pretty awesome!
