Haha, I always talk to my opponents in MMA, but only nice stuff. The first time, I apologized to the guy for bleeding on him as I was in top side control, punching him. He said, "It's cool." I thought, "I need to hit harder, I guess."

Just curious, what's the most ignorant thing you've heard from someone who doesn't train while watching MMA?
I watch it at a local bar with my training partners & students and I think it's hilarious some of the stuff the bar flies come up with.
I lost my shit once when Damien Maia transitioned to the back and one of them yelled out "I'd just stand up and shake him off, why won't this dick head just stand up!".
Even better if you know of someone from a different martial arts style that said something rediculously silly.

I would have to say that "just stand up" is my favorite too. Or it was anyway, until Chris said "rectangle!!" Haha.
