Check this out.
They filmed a movie last summer called "Tapped". My instructor Stew Landry got in and had a fight scene, and a guy we roll with oftentimes, Chino Ramirez, had quite a few fight scenes in it too. I tried to weasel my way into a fight scene too (My background is TKD so I can do fancy flying/spinning kicks like a mofo) but they had all the roles filled by the time I started trying to pull strings.
Anyways, I "Liked and shared" a promo for the video, and that action got my name entered into a draw.
Wouldn't you know it, I won free passes to the private screening premier in Toronto! (Won it on my birthday of all days!)
So my wife and I got to go see the movie with Stew and Chino in it, and Stew and Chino were there of course. We met a bunch of the cast as well. It was super cool.
Stew had a 10P hoodie on at the start of his fight scene, and he also helped with some of the choreography, so in one of the fight scenes I watched them pull truck and then go into Twister on the big screen! When they rolled credits, Stew got hjis name in there and later on in the "Thanks yous" they also mentioned 10th Planet Peterborough!
It was super cool!!
Anyways, this movie I think is going straight to video, so pick it up and check it out.
