    Capoeira Pass v Quarter Guard

Other than the ninja choke and baiting your opponent to go back to the other side by challenging them to go for an arm triangle, is there anything else that you can do from bottom quarter to better your position if your opponent keeps good posture, head up and is opening your guard with his/her free leg during a capoeira pass attempt?

Thanks for the reply Chris. I was thinking more if your opponent had already established perfect base after a capoeira pass and what could be done from bottom quarter. I think all the quarter warm up techniques are applicable only when your opponent is on the 'twister pass side', is that correct?

Nope, the last one in the series is 1/4 guard, whip down (to the same position you are talking about) back to lockdown, whip down back to closed guard.

We hardly play any quarter guard because that backstop (capoeira motion) leads to a nasty leg lock series (forget the pass) that is extremely difficult to get out of.
