I agree but it's still a technique that can put somebody out.

For sure! I meant it didn't have the same single strike power and brutality of, say, Edson Barboza's spinning heal kick that makes your jaw drop. Still a nice fricken kick...

I would say it just depends on how solid the kick lands. I've seen people KO'd by it both as a back kick and spin kick.

I just meant that particular kick in that particular fight. The first clip I thought it was a single strike KO. The second video I realised it wasn't. Like you, I've seen people KO'd by both (once even with a head guard on!).
