This weekend NAGA held their first "Michigan" event, and the Clare Hot Box DOMINATED! Every competitor we took placed in the top 3 of their division(s). White Belt Andrew Roe even brought home the Championship in the Blue Belt GI Bracket! lol Overall it was a great weekend, and an incredible experience for the team.
Want to give a HUGE thank 10th Planet Ann Arbor's Head Coach Adlai Celeveland for all the help on the mats, especially with my matches. It's awesome how incredibly supportive everyone in the 10th Planet System is of one another. No dick measuring, no jealousy, just everyone in it to help each other achieve a common goal.
Here is a list of our competitors and their results!

This was a special victory for me personally. I managed to come back and defeat the same guy I lost the No-Gi finals against (4-2) by Triangle to Win the Gi Championships! It'd been a few years since I've rolled against the guy i met in the finals, but until Saturday he always got the best of me. Meant a lot to me to put in the work, and actually get a W over him on a stage like that. NAGA coming to Michigan is as prestigious of a tournament as it gets up our way, and it'd been a goal of mine to win that Belt for some time now. Couldn't have had everything play out better than it did.
