    What do you think..

I think he's full of it...I hate it when people say shit like this. Its misinformation and fucking wrong and egoistic. Dave doesn't have a background in nutrition? He shouln't be making claims when he has no data to back it up.

He has discussed this on a few of his podcasts actually. He's been trying to discredit Tait for a while now.

I listened to one of Asprey on JRE a while ago. Joe has to develop some sort of screening method for pseudo-scientists, maybe guests without degrees have to prove that they know what a scientific journal is.

Yeah, he's full of mostly shit

I don't think he's trying to discredit Tait, he's simply saying the other dude he had on his podcast about I think it was bulletproof coffee was full of shit. The research proved it. He's a huge fan of butter coffee.

From what I have heard on a couple of JRE's is that he was trying to discredit Tait's coffee and saying that Caveman Coffee is inferior and contains microtoxins. They were once supposed to be partners, but since they are rivals now, that's what he was trying to do. Apparently Dave's coffee is still good, and the MCT oil has been proven to be effective, his business tactics and pseudo science BS are to be looked down upon.

I agree that Joe should develop a method of screening guests, but at the same time, it's hard to do that with people from such a wide variety of expertise. He can't have a standardized method for each guest since they vary in knowledge in specific areas.

Search Asprey's coffee on a coffee forum. He does not own any aspects of his coffees production. I have read that Portland Roasting is his source.

Not crediting Dr. Rhonda Patrick for using her research is for sure a D-bag move. As is pretending there is a super-secret mycotoxin removing process when there seems to be no evidence of one, and if there was, it seems to be ineffective based on Tait's testing.

That's a pretty old episode, and he gives Tait and Keith plenty of kudos in quite a few episodes after that
