It's a disgrace the way the Jiu-Jitsu is being sold. I am ashamed to say the Ryron and Rener teach classes online, where you can pick a track from a Gracie the internet. I am sad to know that it's happening now. Unfortunately, I can not do anything. I do not own the world, I can only control what I do. Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art. You need to put your blood in the gym, hang out with your teacher and earn the belt. It is something that is gained with time, experience, and not with money and friendship

I really like using the online material from MTS or 10thPlanet Rochester TWIR I find it compliments the rare time I am able to make it to a gym for live training. But I agree that ranking is earned from experience in the gym and competition.

Kron is a badass on the mats. I remember ADCC he latched onto a guillotine on Marcelo, only Marcelo knows how close it was, and subsequently beat Kron with takedowns. The only guy he did not tap.

I don't like Rener at all he just rubs me the complete wrong way. I like to think I'm very open minded when it comes to absorbing techniques, info etc but I just can't stand to listen to him he seems massively driven by his own ego.
