I can't get the mini stomp to work. My opponents free their leg fairly easily or they end up finishing the knee slice pass. Or, I can't even get my leg in to set up the mini stomp. You guys got any tips?
Constant squeeze. Also if you're in a proper quarter shell, you'll be hard on your hip, top arm hidden, and also grabbing that free leg so they can't capoeira. Go from your hip to flat on your back (just briefly don't stay there long) constantly squeezing that quarter guard then make the move for the mini stomp as soon as your back hits the mat. Push pull lockdown.
