One of the students in my kindergarten class has a mom who works for the O2 here in Berlin. For being a such a great teacher she brought me 3 tickets (premium seats) for the UFC event here on Saturday. I was really honored and a little embarrassed because it is such a nice gift.
Let's just say her kid gets a few get out of jail free passes! (Her kid is great anyway so they won't need them!)
The moral of this story is, if you have kids and you like the job that their teaches do bring them a little something. It doesn't have to be expensive tickets, but flowers, chocolates, art supplies for the class etc...or even a free, "Thank you for doing a great job." Sometimes it is this little show of gratitude that turns around a stressful day/week.
