I would never wear a belt colour If I am not sure I am good enough for it.
Im a 2nd degree white belt proud, once my Master honours me with the blu it would be great, but not in any other way.
Jiujitsu is samurai legacy, lets honour their code, its the only thing we got from them. Oh, sushi and katanas too LOL.
