Did Eddie invent the Stomp, Super Stomp, Mini Stomp, etc? I've never seen anyone else teach it, just wondering if he came up with it or it's an old Jean Jacque move or something. Sure is useful

I don't think he "invented" the techniques, but he definitely named them. The Marcelo brown belts I train with have these as staples in their games, since butterfly is one of the things Marcelo is really known for. It's become pretty routine to have to use the stomp for something we're drilling, and I've even found a few half guard sweeps off the stomp that superbly complement my lockdown game, and even counter a couple 10p passes.Last edited by Ross Davidson; 06-05-2014 at 09:11 AM.
