It depends on who I'm rolling with, if we roll often and I know it's not serious I'll joke around but if I don't know the guy I'll be serious. If I can tell I'm going to get smashed then it's Brazilian accent all day " My friend I cant lets you just choke me, i hatch to make yous work for thatch "

If I am rolling with a friend or someone I train with often sometimes we tok, tell jokes, talk smack etc. I also don't mind talking when we light roll or roll for position etc.
Also, if I roll with someone who is new I might talk them through doing something.
If I go hard and get into bad spots I also will roll with my eyes closed and focus on breathe control.

Rolling sessions yes. But in a competition I wouldn't.
