On a somewhat related note: anyone who is interested in a free MMA open mat is welcome to attend KMAA's Martial Arts Festival on Saturday July 19th. This annual event is always a good time, whether you are wanting to work on your striking, wrasslin', jiu jitsu, or get some good mma sparring sessions in. Don't miss this great opportunity, we will have coaches in with experience in boxing, muay thai, wrestling, BJJ gi and no-gi, and sambo. Don't have exact mat space measurements, but I believe last year we were very easily pushing ~50 and had plenty of room on the mats, not to mention the full size cage.
Like I said, everyone is invited, no egos, no politics. Hope to see some 10P family there, last year we had a couple of guys from the Cookeville HB show up. If anyone wants to drive up and get some training in the night before as well, PM me and I can more than likely get you a deal with lodging.
