Chael Sonnen vs Andre Galvao Metamoris Headliner (Rumor)

So rumors are flying around the webs about Sonnen and Galvao facing off in August for Metamoris.

I'll believe it when I see Metamoris announce it. This is going to be very interesting. And my interesting I mean Galvao is going to toy with him until he gets bored and decides to finish him.


EDIT: I just looked at the rumored card. I do hope it's more than a rumor. I don't care for the main card, but the rest looks badass.

On a side note. Andre Galvao is having a seminar around me in the future. However, its only a gi seminar. Ive never worn a gi and have no interest in competing in one. Think its worth going to? Anyone else attend one of his seminars?

Sure, Chael Sonnen's jiu-jitsu skills are probably underrated because of the mutliple submission losses he has on his record, but Andre Galvao is on a whole different level. This would most certainly not be very competitive, even if Chael comes in much heavier.

I say go to every seminar you can. You can always learn valuable stuff every time you go to one. Andre does awesome seminars and even if it means nothing, just throw on a gi an enjoy the experience. He's a multiplex world champ, he's gotta have something we need. I say go.

I just don't want another Ryron and Andre point-fest, or anther Brendan shaub/ cyborg. I know Chael would push the pace, and Andre would neutralize, but we all thought the aforementioned matches would go differently and they didn't

Here's the thing about main events like this. Sometimes people will pay to watch you lose. Especially a guy like Chael who is a great heel. Metamoris is about superfights and sales. Chael is a decent name. All that said, I still dont' think it's real. I think it's just a rumor even though the rumor mill keeps saying it's confirmed. Until Metamoris confirms it, it's a rumor.

But yeah, even though I don't care about the main event, I do wanna see the rest of those matches.
