Henderson was going to compete at this Metamoris (and take on none other than Kron Gracie) but the UFC offered him (Henderson) a fight later that month, so he had to withdraw.
    Maybe next time...

Public perception, regardless of personal thoughts, may see Chael as a cheater and a fraud...having a more "reputable" person with less of a steroid issue might be better for the sport.
Show of hands, who thinks Galvao is natural?

Im much more interested in the Lister V Barnett match. If Lister stays aggressive and not as lax as he was against Babalu it should be great. The trailer said "heavyweight title"? Are they going to have champions now? That would be pretty dope.
I have really come to like Lister. His instructional DVDs are incredibly good too.

BJJ needs to grab the attention of the huge market of MMA fans. This is a great step in that direction. Many MMA fans who have never watched a BJJ match before will be tuning in. If the fights turn out to be fun to watch, it will turn a lot of these MMA fans into BJJ fans.
I agree to an extent, but what I really did like about MM was that it wasn't full of MMA guys, but guys I'd not heard much of / who would never be interested in MMA. I thought it was cool to have a show paying the guys who didn't like the idea of getting punched in the face, but were talented in their own sport. If they keep the balance right, I think it will be good. But I'd prefer to see Galvao fight someone of his calibre in NoGi than Sonnen who is already pretty well off and who is an MMA fighter. Perhaps they can put on more matches in order to do this?

I agree with Ben, i just hope Sonnen don't fight like Brendan Schaub that was a shame. Obviously , fight with Galvão will be very hard thing cause Sonnen was a long time focus on MMA, the grappling training were from MMA matches, while Galvão has been in BJJ tournaments recently, but found very brave of Chael to at least try ! I'm not saying Galvão is gonna win, but the chances of that happens is bigger than the chances of Sonnen win, but we never know, fight is not predictable , it can surprise us, or not ...

Please my dude Chael walked into the octagon got hit by anderson silva, put him on his ass and became a champ. He wouldn't run from Andre Galvao, Andre the Giant, or Andre Agasi. If anyone is at finish line buying new running shoes it's Galvao.

I don't really know why anyone on a jiu jitsu forum would want to see Galvao lose, especially when all it's going to prove to the world is steroids>jiu jitsu, but to each his own. As much as anything is impossible in fighting CS winning is impossible, he might draw, but he can't win.
Lister vs Barnett is sick, we just win by having that match, I personally like Lister a little better, but both are awesome.
Also want to see Robeiro win that gi match!
    So many good fights!

Chael definitely won't run. he won't win, but he won't run. He wants to help the sport and he will do his best given the rule set, but without doing anything clearly stupid or risky. Andre Galvao isn't a huge finisher in nogi, but he just took Braulio Estima's back and choked him. I see this going the same way, or perhaps Galvao attacking the turtle with an armbar from the back, or sliding in a darce choke. I don't predict any triangles or armlocks from guard, as Galvao primarily plays open guard in nogi and looks to sweep. I'm excited to see what happens. I do think Chael's BJJ is probably better than people think. But draw or Galvao sub by RNC, armbar, or darce.

I'm new to jiu jitsu so I'm not that familiar with the names, but still looks exciting. Will for sure try to check it out.
