10th Planet needed in Salt Lake City

I have been grappling for about 3 years in a very MMA oriented no-gi style. My trainer is a Black Belt under Walt Bayless. He trained Court McGee before his TUF appearance, former training partner of Matt Hughes, Rich Franklin etc.. Some things happened and the gym has closed. I am in dire need of no-gi grappling in the Salt Lake area. I have always been a fan of the 10th Planet style. I can put my legs behind my head, double lotus with no hands, played soccer my whole life so my leg dexterity is on point to implement the 10th Planet style. I do the electric chair, electric stone and other 10th Planet-esque moves in class all the time. My nickname was the 10th Planet grappler at my gym. As of right now me and my friends grapple at my house on mats I got from Amazon they are pretty legit mats if anyone is interested.

There is a huge desire for Jiu-Jitsu in the Salt Lake area, I would do anything to help make a hotbox here. I work full time and am going to College for an Information Systems degree so I don't all the time in the world but I was able to manage 3 days a week at my previous gym with religious consistency. Any help on how I could do this would be great.

    Hey Chad,

Our gym is 100% no-gi and only $40/mo. We have been using 10th Planet techniques since 2005. Both instructors have multiple medals in Grapplers Quest Advanced Divisions (including my Silver medal from the UFC Fan Expo 3 days ago).

You should make a hotbox, but if you want a place to train in the meantime, feel free to check out our place.

Just out of curiosity, what gym did you train at that closed? Who was your trainer?

Oh yeah, I've heard about you guys. I know Kyle and some of them. A friendly suggestion for whoever manages your website: You need to fix the SEO on it. I have been in IT for awhile and it took me a bit to even Google your website. (those links you provided are helpful though) I ran into someone and told them that my gym closed and they suggested your place. My trainer was Griff. The name was MMA21 and then Sugarhouse MMA but that closed as well.

If you google "grappling Salt Lake City" or "no-gi salt lake city" or something like that, it comes up at or very near the top.

If you google "BJJ salt lake city" it doesn't come up.

    That's intentional. Hahahahaha.

Yeah, Kyle trained at our place for that Mustang Mash tournament he won last winter.

He's an awesome guy, we like him a lot.

I rolled with him quite a bit. He can tell you all about us.

    Saturday Match #2

After the long triangle hold with the strong guy in the first match, my forearms and legs were way past their lactate thresholds. I tried to clear it, but this match came up too fast. I got the takedown to side and started to get on an arm triangle. But after about 60 seconds, I had nothing in my arms and legs. The opponent was from 10PJJ Van Nuys.
