Also, do any of you guys choke from kneeling like he does at .55 secs and 3:27? Looks like it adds some extra leverage if you're in a hooks battle.

I stated using the kneeling choke after seeing it in this video, it's great. Just be careful when you first start using it it can be brutal on the other guy's neck.

so fun watching this guy. that shit he pulled at 4:10 was sneaky slick, he had the under in the whole time controlling one arm, then he did this knee slice looking thing to scoop the other arm up, all while doing some fucking flyover pass straight into the crucifix. Takes the neck thai style. thanks for posting, that was inspiring

My experience is probably similar to many others, but when I visited Marcelo's he was the coolest guy in the world. Introduced himself, rolled with me. He did in fact choke me, but it did not hurt, although I am sure he could have made it hurt. He was never unnecessarily rough. I get the feeling he is one of those guys that if you are cool, they are cool. Paul up there is also a great instructor and super nice guy.

I have seen Sam Davis kill with that Kneeling choke. He has destroyed me with it a few times so I can attest to its effectiveness.
