Didnt get a chance to film anything with a legit purple belt, but i almost hit it live in comp this weekend! That would have been awesome! lol I asked my opponent and he said lights were going out. Asked me to show him how it worked after the match.

After missing the side control escape I let him try to lock on a north/south choke. his hand positioning was off, but still in the right place for me to start my counter. If you watch closely you can see him get low at 5:15 to try and squeeze, bailing to sit up on his knees and then finally letting go of his choke to play hands and defend my counter.
Would have been great to show it working to a tap, but at least you can see the general idea here.
