My HS wrestling match N/S CHOKE opponent to sleep

Old school high school wrestling match of mine I found when I was 16. I put the kid to sleep with a north south choke for the pin him. When I wrestled in High school my mentality was to choke my opponent to pin them or put some much pressure through technique, force, and aggression that I would mentally break them. This is also how I started to mix my wrestling and jiu jitsu and my jiu jitsu with wrestling.

You can choke someone out with a front headlock. Since chokes are illegal in wrestling, the Schultz brothers (Dave and Mark) would try to move their opponent around Weekend at Bernie's style after doing so to avoid penalties.

Sadly there are no submissions in wrestling. Catch as Catch can used to be an olympic sport but no longer. If a referee catches you trying to choke someone you are likely to get disqualified. You can put people in positions like chokes so long as you don't torque them to control them.

My son is in the red T-shirt in this video. He won his first medal by getting a front headlock and spinning his opponent with a gator roll and ending with a pin in North-South position. The other kid had no idea what to do.
