    One of the great, influential coaches in my life, Leo Kirby (left side), just got promoted to black belt by Marcelo Garcia.

    Just felt like bragging a bit and giving him some props.

    Yes. Not as often as hed like to, but yes. He's actually invited me to have rolling sessions with him and gary during the day time so I'll be getting more work in with him now too

    Very exclusive. I'm so incredibly grateful to the Woolsey's for introducing me to real Marcelo OG's from when he was teaching down here. Eddie's always talking about how training with Marcelo is what he'd want us to do if we couldn't train at 10P or under JJ, so it's been an absolute pleasure to be learning from these guys.

    I even have been using the butterfly guard really well as of late. And butterfly guard does NOT come easy for me.
