Ok guys would like some thoughts from you all, opening a new place for MMA Boxing Thai Boxing NoGi Fitness Weights etc. What do you guys hate or love to see in a gym???? Look forward to your responses..........

Proper tatami mats (with the subfloor).
Showers.
Volcano vaporizer room
A really good water filter system so you have great water to drink, and then you can discourage throw away bottles.

Cage, Thai bags, mats, boxing ring, and nice restroom/shower area. Oh and of course a safety meeting (green) roomLOL, but seriously.

Hey Brandon having a 16ft cage and ring and a largeish matted area bags and pads and ropes and pads and gloves etc but you always forget something just nice to do it right and listening to people who train already at places everyones help will let us achieve that and provide a great place for all to train

Sticking to your set schedule is a big thing, for me anyway. I cant stand when a class is suppose to start at say 530 and Its 545 still waiting to start your class. I think that you need verified instructors in whatever you will have. For example JC is blue belt given by Eddie himself. You have to understand for me, I may not be the norm because I was in the Army and I can handle organized chaos but cant tolerate just chaos. I dont know if that makes any since but just my thoughts.

No makes perfect sense, i am a nightmare if things dont run on time and yeah totally agree with the whole having the right coaches

I can't express how important it is to have great instructors. You have to be sure that there legit, that's only way to have longevity.

What everyone else said.. kind of goes with shower/restroom but like a locker room setting.. maybe with lockers people can use or just rent out for the year. Good mats for sure and fairly large mat space... ring etc.. Literally just popped into my head.. but a peg board if you have a high ceiling. I haven't seen one in years but those things are badass.

As far as weight stuff.. I would love to have in gym. A prowler.... a power rack, and platform with bumper plates. Oh and maybe a large tire.

If you had all of that.. I would practically live in your gym. Throw a desk in the corner for me to get my school work done and i'll definitely live there :P
