Anyone who is in the area on Sept 13th is welcome to stop by KMAA for our first in-house grappling tournie. We are taking a page out of Eddie's book and are shooting for two 16 man brackets, <170 lbs and >170 lbs. Modified EBI rules, in that it is double elimanation and only a single overtime round per competitor, if needed. In following Eddie's lead, we want this to be a great experience for the competitors who want to show they can finish fights. We're hoping to have some great highlights to share!
And after the tournament, Brandon McCaghren is going to be giving us all the rundown on armbars and d'arces. Super excited for this. Also trying to talk Sam Davis into coming up so we can have his brain to pick as well.
Tournie is $10, seminar is $40. I've been putting this out on FB for a minute, but just in case it snuck past anyone on there, just wanted Nibiru to be aware of the opportunity as well. Hoping to have some great support from 10P for the tournie, and showcase what 10P is all about: finishing people.
