10th Planet gradings

Hi all,

As I previously said, I've just signed up and planning to go sign up at 10th Planet London. I was just wondering how the grading in 10th planet works? I'm just a white belt in gi anyways, but if I was to train 10th planet and get to blue belt, would I then be a blue belt in gi? Also, vice versa, If somebody is a blue/purple in gi do they automatically become blue/purple when they join 10th planet?

if u blue/purple/brown in a Gi, u automatically become blue/purple/brown in 10P system. if you are black in a Gi, u become brown in 10P.

Ah OK, cool I guess this would cause some conflict with the coach that you have for your gi classes? Like if you rolled in with a blue belt round your waste and said yeah 10th Planet such and such gave this etcc... I'm just thinking because I am planning to join 10th planet london, but also don't know jack in the gi as I just train with friends and one of them is a blue belt who teaches us
