However, Just cuz you have your BF Hooks in doesn't mean you're working a sweep or changing the distance, She initially had her BF Hooks in, she needs to use those to disrupt the base. She stayed in that Stomp position too long IMO. If you're going to stomp, you need to get both BF Hooks in and make space or immediately sweep. If you're going to play RG from BF Guard/New Jersey you have to clear the head quick and make moves. Luckily the punches she ate weren't devastating, but she didn't control the distance well if that makes sense.
From a self defense aspect, you're either clinching or making ridiculous amounts of space to where you off balance your opponent so you can escape. The same principle applies in MMA.
