Carlson doesn't get nearly enough credit from the Gracies. If it weren't for him defending the "family honor" for decades who knows what would have happened to jiu jitsu and the Gracies.

Great point, I agree. Carlson's contribution to Jiu Jitsu was MASSIVE.
