Scott and Compella can explain the more exotic nomenclature. They actually did exactly that with the Dead Orchard iirc.

Why not cater to them? They're a big audience. They're not the enemy. Though they may think they are.

Countdown shows will eventually come, right now we are on a tight budget. And Scott Ross and Compella aren't going anywhere, they know traditional BJJ terminology and 10p terminology, they're perfect for the job :-)

Amen to that. Better to have bi-lingual guys who can communicate with each other and the audience than having a guy who only know traditional BJJ terms. This cut down a lot of confusion. Scott and Compella did a great job on this last one.

I loved how it just went from fight to fight to fight. Nonstop action!
UFC and Metamoris I end up fast forwarding through everything up until the fights.
Actually a age, height and wieght pop up would be right befor the match would be cool.

EBI is the most exciting comp I've seen.
I love the multiple match bracket tournament style.

1 thing I think would make it better.
White mat instead of black.
A white mat would have better light dispersal and would create softer shadows and improve the visibility and detail that the cameras pick up.
The black mat created hard shadows and the spotlights were bright in some areas and dark in others.
